A recent trip with Paul Ostrer on a journey to Cimetière de la Tranchée de Mecknès near Aix-Noulette in northern France, the final resting place of his great uncle Corporal Charles Davies E-180 of the 17th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (London Regiment). He died 5 months into WW1 in a trench in northern France aged just 26. This film is a dedication to him and many more just like him.
The trip and film is to accompany a recent portrait of Corporal Charles Davies by Paul Ostrer and part of the WAR STORIES presentation by Daddaprojects which is on in Italy April 2015
The film was filmed on 2 x Garmin VIRB motorbike cameras and all on one take! Didn’t have much footage to use so was lucky with what I got!
